This is what sucks about this hobby..the parsing of words...survivor [as discussed elsewhere]matching numbers..correct..original..'real deal' all BS..

Now the most reassuring phrase is 'born with' I guess there is no wiggle room on that term...except when it is a flat out lie.

Now for me, a blue collar, dirt under my finger nails kinda guy..I have to use the word 'Provenance'

WTF..I just want to do a freakin' burnout ..not speak French...

The guy that has the car for sale says jenjacs did not do the resto. That is according to a post on the TC site anyway.

He said that jenjacs did not do the resto but did have the car and did do some detailing work to the car... the statements are misleading at best...

That's funny, when I talked to him, I told him that I was not interested in buying the car but was interested in his other parts he was going to sell. I did ask him who did the restoration and he told me the car came from Georgia and Joey W. did the restoration. This car has changed hands a couple times before the current owner.

I really like the sellers comment here:

"THIS AUCTION IS ONLY FOR EBAY MEMBERS WITH THE UTMOST HONOR & INTEGRITY."

That's how every one of those Nigerian emails I get starts with. And I'm still waiting for that $27,000,000 from my late uncle, King Eldon Mabatoosi in Lagos.

I like seeing people get their large $$$'s for their cars, but if clones (this car, green B/J, others) are bringing this kind of money what is a REAL car going to bring?
