Default Please excuse my anger!

First off please excuse my anger. If this post offends anyone, again I am sorry. The story: I have been chasing an all original 1969 Chevelle for 3 months now. The cars has its original owner, paint, interior, engine, tires, . . .ect. The car also has every piece of documentation to back up its authenticity. The seller of this car is doing his 75 year old neighbors a favor and clearly has NO clue how to sell a car and needless to say this guy is as smart as the rock wall in my backyard. I have been calling him on an average of once a week trying to squeeze some extra pictures and comments out about the car. Finally after a month and 4 calls, he agreed to send me a copy of the documentation folder he has along with a few pictures of the engine pad and cowl tag. A day later I got an e-mail back asking "what is an engine pad"? I explained it to him, and then he said he has never heard anything about an engine pad, and he wants an apology for the confusion. So I apologized and he agreed to get the pictures out. I am figuring everything is going fine now, and I have my finger crossed this car is everything this guy has said it is? Just as everything seems to be going well, I get an e-mail from this guy stating that taking more pictures is a "hassle" and the car is "no longer available." I was FLOORED! This guy had the nerve to say something like that after he has driven me wild while all I want is his neighbor's car. So, I took a deep breath, told him the not to worry about the pictures and to please rethink what he just told me. If he were not in AZ, (only an $1,800 trip) I would have had seen the car by now. I am going to have my closet friend inquire about the car. Then plan "B" is if the car is good, he will buy it, and I will buy it from him. Does anyone have any recommendations?
