Default Journalist Needs Help + Photos on COPO Specials

Hi, my name is Rich Truesdell and I'm new here, having been told by several members that I should join. Some of you may know my name from my contributions to Cars & Parts and Musclecar Enthusiast, possibly from my September cover story on Dave Lindsley's '66 Chevelle SS396.

I'm working on several vintage Camaro features timed to the release of the 2010 Camaro this spring. I really need publication-quality photos of original, tribute, or continuation COPO, Yenko, Nickey, Bill Thomas, Baldwin-Motion, Dana, Fred Gibb, Berger, and any other dealer-built special pre-'75 Camaros.

If you have some great photos of your car and would like to share them with me, please send them to me at richt (a) automotivetraveler dot com. It would be great if you also include your name, home town, and a few lines detailing your car such as the type (which will always not be obvious from the photos), how long you've owned it, are you the original owner, drivetrain details, and if you have a time slip on your car, please let me know the ET and trap speed.

I have an automotive photography guide posted on the Automotive Traveler website in case you would like some tips on exactly what editors look for in feature cars. The link to the page is:

Happy holidays to all,
