Dip Stick Question

Continuing to clean out storage and came across one of the old dipsticks and tubes I had lying around and would like to ask the experts what the correct applications for it are. It is part number 3860316 with an M above the part number. I have been told it is correct for 65-early 67 (March) Corvette 396 and 427's including the 435hp 427 but figure it was used for more than that. Also what would a reasonable price for it be?
