I was at a small, local car cruise this past evening which was the last one for the season. I was hanging out with a few friends when a 69 Chevelle SS 396 car came rolling through the lot and parked near us. The fella that owned the car knew a friend of mine. I started talking to him and found that the car was all "day 2" and basically untouched since the early 70s... It is an ex-race car and was bought new at Ed Stinn's Chevrolet in Cleveland, Ohio. Car originally is a 325 HP 396 car. I grabbed my camera for this one and snapped some shots... Thought you guys might like to see the car.... Enjoy..... Rich
The cob-webbing lace paint job on the car was killer and over the original color blue.. This was done in the early 70s. ![]() ![]() ![]() This was cool, the old tow tabs still in place. Also check out the plate frame. These were given out to employees at the Parma, Ohio Chevy Plant back in the day... ![]() ![]() ![]() The plug/wiring harness for towing the vehicle. ![]() Old FM converter still in the dash... ![]() Owner said the shifter came out of a GTO in a junk yard.. The interior was basically all original.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Got to have the nostalgic fuzz on the rear package tray area!! ![]() ![]() A friend's 72 SS 454 rag car and 68 Chevelle SS ![]() ![]() And last but not least my children... ![]() ![]()
