[ QUOTE ]
I feel strongly that the ones which started this post are more desirable than the current offering by Cragar. I feel this way because of the higher quality- more detailed cap as well as the location of the valve stem. It would be neat to see an old catalog posted, but I did fine this link tonight to be helpful. [/ QUOTE ] I second everything you said! After more digging, here's something interesting to add: The earliest versions had the valve stems outside of the spokes. For whatever reason, they were then switched to inside the spokes. And now, the current ones offered by Cragar are back outside the spokes. That being said, I guess the ones in the original post are a bit different, so I guess that makes 3 types of this style wheel I've seen. That is unless it's a knock-off; which I have heard of. The back-side of the casting looks similar to the later style ones rather than the earlier style ones too.
