Well, had fun racing the car and all but it was just getting old driving a low 11 second car on the street - I could pass anything but a gas station!
So, out went the TH400, 4.10s, headers, 3 in exhaust, 950 HP carb etc..... and in went a stock looking version of the same 454 with smaller cam, Qjet, manifolds, cast iron intake (kept the heads!) M20, 3.08s and 2.5 in exhaust..... man, it is fun again! Even the wife drives it!
The goal was to have something that looks like the original L34 the car came with but with more power...Like Ls6 power. The engine dyno`d 450hp and 530TQ(at 2500!) - with dyno room headers
