Amazing Internet Find !!!!

I was looking thru a old Drag Racing thread on another site and was scrolling thru the pictures when this picture popped up..........You got to be kidding me.....It is a picture from 1967 with my L-79 Nova on a borrowed trailer on our way out to the Grove......That's my friend Mario and his Cadillac pulling the trailer......LOL......Thinking back to those times........I couldn't afford to pay the rent but I was at the track every weekend.......After a year of that non-sense she put her foot down and said that was it.....and the car Hobby came to a screeching halt for 25 years.......LOL.....Anyhow.....I had E&R go thru the engine back then ........bored .030......Sig Erson cam and a Edelbrock cross ram manifold.......ran a best of 11.82 in 67.........After she pulled funding.......I sold the engine and put a 396-360h.p. engine and turbo 400 in the car.......spent the Winter of 67-68 in my dad's garage doing the install and building my own headers.......LOL.....Tubing, torch and coathangers.......LOL......Finished the car and drove it in the summer of 68........Then the one night I didn't put the car in the garage and it was sideswiped by a Drunk........Had it fixed but it was fixed to very good standards and I ended up selling it to a guy on the south side of Chicago and never saw it again
