Default Hurricane chevelle

Looked at 70 396 ss the other day that was submerged under about 3ft of water in 2012. Water rose to about center of the dashboard. Car has sat in driveway since then. It does have the original motor and drivetrain although the owner did say that water did get into the engine and seems to be locked up. Is this something that everyone would stay away from or is this something that still has some possibilities. Thanks. Mark
