Hi everyone,
Just bought a '67 Camaro real 4K L78 car. Already hate the Muncie shifter as it is now bound up in reverse. Fortunately, I was able to back into my garage and I'll have to get under this weekend and get it unlocked. Plan is to order a Hurst Competition Plus shifter and linkage kit (pretty spendy over $700) and then cut the shifter handle off and weld the Muncie stick to it as I am a purist and want to maintain the stock look. Seems straightforward enough. Any concerns guys or tips? Thanks, Paul
