My father had two 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix cars, one was a Model J and the other was an SJ. The Model SJ had only two big headlights and the Model J was the base model with four small headlights. The Model J had a 400cc engine with an automatic transmission, and the Model SJ had a 428cc engine and a 4-speed automatic or 4-speed transmission.
In late 1969, the 1970 Grand Prix SJ began production with four small headlights. My father often tells me about his 1969 Grand Prix cars. That's why I choose the GP. |
