I wish I still owned this custom Corvette back when I lived in Springfield, Illinois as these 70’s era customs have come back around to being a cool collectible and a blast to drive.

I owned this car in the mid 70’s and it was built by Dick Ferrando in Gillespie, Illinois.
He used various Corvette components from different years, plus the Lemans gas cap and Lemans plexiglass headlight covers.
He went the extra mile on those covers as they were cut in half, with the back half incorporated into the body.

I recall this engine was a 1970 LT1 with a ‘63 FI unit. The car was wicked.

Plus it had all the comfort in air conditioning and leather.

If you only knew.
