Default Chevy orange engine paint ?

OK guys - again ..... EASY on me here !!!

I'm gearing up to build the 427 for the Biscayne, and I may be able to swing the 427 build in parallel with the Certified motor put-together for my W-31. I'm gathering 427 parts as we speak .........

The newbie Chevy question of the day: What's the best, and most correct flavor of Chevy orange engine enamel ?

I know with Olds motors, the correct Olds gold engine enamel is about $20/can. The other, *off-the-shelf* paints are no where near the proper *hue*. With Mopars, there are several acceptable suppliers out there.

I may have this thing ready to do battle in the spring at the Factory Stock race.......
