Default Super Car Responsibility

Being new to this forum, I dont know if this subject has been touched upon.
As being the owner of a Super Car should you feel a certain responsibility to the collecting car community and yourself to make sure this car is brought back to Day One condition and to show this car at several events each year?
If so, What about the guy that got that Yenko on Ebay a couple weeks ago. Would it be fair for him to just sit it in his garage until he can muster the 100k or so to bring it back, or should he sell it to someone who can. Maybe he could never take on that venture because of costs. How about the guy with the original drive train, should he sell it to him or vice versa, maybe they could be partners, but there is still a huge road ahead and lots of money. Not trying to offend the owner of that car, this is just an example. Back to the original question, How much responsibility comes with a Super Car? Anyone?
Sam
