Default Blown 427

A couple hours ago I was driving my Beaumont to car show about 50 or 55 miles from home. I was cruising up I-85 when all of a sudden something started feeling strange. To start with I thought a tire was going flat. That was until I heard a small boom and a huge cloud of smoke came from under the car. I was in a construction area so I had to coast about a half mile to get off the road. I looked under the car and popped the hood expecting to see oil everywhere but there wasn't any. I tried to start it but only got a click from the starter. I had the car towed home but am too upset right now to start ripping into it to see what happened. It looks like it's time to build a 396 and detail my engine compartment like I have been wanting to do.
