Re: Another eBay Scam
The "seller" goes as far as sending a very official looking page from eBay saying they have $20,000 held by eBay in case I, the "buyer", am not completely satisfied.
I sent this information to eBay and they confirmed it WAS NOT generated by them and they do not hold money in escrow as stated. FYI: Any correspondence with eBay will show up in your "messages" folder under "MY EBAY". Always compare what you receive via e-mail with what is in your "messages" folder. Beware ! ! !
