Default NEW 68 SS427

My father in law was quite lucky as a teenager. His father had new car dealerships in New Mexico and Colorado. This included Chevrolet, Pontiac and Buick. Of the many cars he went through at the time, I thought this might be of interest. Ordered by him new at Star Chevrolet in Springer, New Mexico late 1967 was this '68 SS427 Impala L72 425HP 4spd, blue/white top/white buckets. Window sticker in the photo. He put the red stripe(rocker panel) and mag wheels on the day it arrived. Obviously he changed right back to steel wheels/covers but he can't remember why. Found some relatively recent history on the car which included the drive train having been yanked. The blond infant in the photo represents my better half
