[ QUOTE ]
I have a question regarding this topic. There are companies that manufacture replacement license plates for our hobby. I'm not sure of the particulars here, but I'm wondering if you could have a plate made ( eg. 69-396 ) and register it under this program? ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Years ago I had the guy in Florida make a 1972 Ohio plate for my car.Back then everything was done via the mail to Columbus, all they wanted was a photo copy of the plates. Now keep in mind the guy in florida makes his plates out of aluminum. The problem here in Ohio now is that all the paperwork is done at the local license store....and they check your old plates with a magnet ! So make sure you know your states proceedure before having a set made. |
