We used to have a store in Huntsville, Al and I bought a lot of parts from them back in the late 80's and very early 90's. They of course went out of business with all the rest of the stores... I see the old building all the time in Huntsville which is a Motorcycle shop now. I can't remember who showed me a few months ago but the Super Shops name has been renewed by some folks and I guess they have a few stores out west again. Looks like they are franchising this time, I hope it works out for them. If I had some extra coins it would be cool to try a speed shop. I am sure it is completely different now than it was in the 80's, my idea of a speed shop is probably most of the you guys idea of a speed shop and that probably doesn't include fart cans, wings and LED lights which I guess you would have to sell nowdays to stay afloat ....
