[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Was not the 70 Firebird, built either at Norwood,OH or VanNuys(LA), CA ??????? Maybe you can ask at the Performance Years Pontiac web site (???) Camaro frames should only have the (N)orwood or (L) Los Angeles designation........... [/ QUOTE ] I guess my point is that Camaros and Firebirds WERE built on the same line so I don't think the "N" stands for Norwood. I think I will run over to my other garage and look at my 72 and 74 Camaros and see what they have on them if anything. They are both Norwood cars. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think the N is Norwood. Lets review the rear axle tube. Last two digits are G with either 1 or 2. G meaning gear and axle plant... 1 and 2 meaning shift.. N on the sub must have some other meaning that we have yet to uncover.. Is there an LA car out there with L on the code? Hotrodpaul where are you??
