Just thought I would share some pictures of a friend's 1970 Nova SS 396/375HP L78 car. Car was originally bought new in 1970 at a local Chevy Dealership by his uncle and drag raced in the early 1970s. Car ran in the 10s for quarter mile times back then.
Car was recently purchased by the original owner's nephew and is slowly being put back together as stock. Car was originally a column shift turbo 400 car and still has same in it. This Nova was raced in 1971 under the name "Black Sabbath" and in 1972 under the name "Black Eye." Car is original tuxedo black car also. Car is very, very cool and the body is straight as an arrow!! There are some photos of his car with mine, two 70 L78 column shift turbo 400 cars... Also in the pictures are Steve's Camaro and a another friend's cranberry red 70 Chevelle SS 396 car.. Enjoy...
