Default Some Cool Photos From My Vacation

I just got back from Laconia Bike Week in Laconia, New Hampshire. I had a BLAST!! The weather was a little crappy but I did not let it spoil a great time riding my Harley.. The views are breathtaking around this area..

I went with my Wife, a Buddy and his Wife and another Buddy of mine.. We rented a cottage in Conway, New Hampshire for the week. We rode out to Portland, Maine to see the Atlantic Ocean/Coast, rode up Mt. Washington which is 6,288 feet high and of course rode into Laconia, Meredith and the Weirs Beach area where all of the vendors were.. It was great to wake up and go to bed with the sound of loud, roaring, thumping Harley engines blasting up and down the road non-stop!!!

My Wife took most of all of these pictures from the back of the bike while we were moving.. Enjoy Rich

Some Pictures from the White Mountain National Forest Parkway Area

Just after we passed this sign we saw a huge Moose running off the right hand side of the roadway towards us. About 100 feet from us it darted into the woods!! My wife was not quick enough with the camera to get a picture of it. Those are HUGE animals!!

The ocean in Portland

"The group" in Portland. We stopped to have a sandwhich for lunch that we packed for the ride. My Wife is standing behind my bike, the blue Electraglide Classic, and my Buddy and his Wife by their red Heritage and my other Buddy's silver Softail Duece.

Going up Mt. Washington, My Buddy and his Wife riding behind us. The weather at the summit was cloudy, rain and sleet, 40 degrees with 15 MPH wind speeds. Halfway up this mountain I thought we were nuts for riding it. But after it was done we were happy we rode it.. Coming back down it started to clear and the scenery was awesome!! There were no guardrails and the roadway was narrow in spots..

A dirt, gravel road that was about 3/4 of a mile long near the top of Mt. Washington

There was some snow on the mountain top. We were told it snowed the day before up there..

Going up the dirt, gravel road on Mt. Washington. This was steep and a little tricky..

View from the very top of Mt. Washington and the roadway going back down.. On a clear day they say you can see Boston, Montreal Canada & the Atlantic Ocean
