Default Re: A Full Weekend

That was Friday night. Saturday and Sunday was the annual Cruise Nite Weekend in Jacksonville, IL. Early afternoon is the time to actually hit the street but by 6 PM you awnt to have a place to park and either walk around to see the 'Good Stuff',............... or get the H outa Dodge.

It still draws a good number of quality cars, but the locals in their Big Ol Trucks with the Confed Flags, and the Ricer types have pretty much ruined any true "Cruisin" that used to take place.

So,..... really no pics from Saturday night, but a few from the Sunday gathering in Community park.

Another Stude, but this time a Gran Tourisimo.

Really clean '67.

Super '38

A little bit of variety...........

Not many Mavericks around anymore.

Where's Jethro?

This guy used to race at our track; and almost always in a '57 of some sort. The hauler is an old Fire Dept. truck he just converted. The Bel Air is his wife's car (so he says) and the 150 is his.

The plate on the 150.

Slick Buick

And somebody's Road Roach got past security.

This car is for sale, along with the owners other car; a real Lemans Blue '69 Z-28. If anyone is interested I can get you info and a phone number. Both are nice cars. I've known the owner for twenty plus years and he can be trusted.
