Hey Paul Did not know how to call that part but i do know if you need to get it, it will set you back $75 to $100, maybe even more. I had 2 spares when i had my L34 Chevelle SS396 and i sold both of them real quikly after i sold my car a few years back. Just trying to suggest that if you do buy this type of carb, get it with the de-acceleration valve. Thanks Eric for letting us know what that part is called.
