![]() Photos courtesy of Fredrik Bergström Sweden. This is a Motion Corvette sold new to Sweden back in the day. Fredrik says the car got press in the US as the first turbo converted Motion car or maybe first turbo converted export car. The first owner worked on oilplatforms in Liberia when the car was shipped to Sweden. That´s where he made his Money. Has anyone seen the articles about this car in the US Magazines ? I might add that the car was destroyed some years ago in a garage fire. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() I might add that one of the Norwegian guys on Facebook commented that there is a 1978 Motion 454 Corvette that was exported to Norway in 1978. And that car is still around.

I think the caption should read: "I'm too sexy for my car". LOL, sorry.

Hey, I do remember the orange Turbo car that was exported and drove it and the 454 Corvette that went to Norway. I can't add much as far as info is concerned and my Motion files are stored in a warehouse now. I have some files at home, but not on those cars. Regards, Marty

![]() I was told this weekend that the car is still around. It was damaged by water and smoke in the fire, but was not destroyed. Hopefully someone will bring it back to former glory in the future.

the other "first" Motion Turbo car, owned by Ernest Hardy of Newfoundland, a '73 purchased in Ontario, Canada and then brought to Joel Rosen for body and drivetrain upgrades. Featured in a 1975 CORVETTE SPECIALS magazine which I think was a CARS publication. Car still exists - hiding out in a semi trailer for a couple decades now...
