That's very cool indeed Steve. Always nice to find an early owner and reconnect people and cars. I am speaking from experience as I recently got together with the original owner of my 69 car and will be doing so again when it's all finished up.

Hope to see some pictures of your visit together.

Is the original owner still around?

I'm looking forward to seeing Paul, it looks like the first weekend in March weather permitting. Paul has lost contact with the original owner Bill Miller. I have searched but unable to locate him at this point. I was hoping Paul would forward some pics but I haven't received any yet.

Well I met Paul today, and what a super person. I visited him in NJ and he provided me with two pics of the car taken in 1974. I also have a pic of Bill Miller (orig owner) on the left and Paul (second owner) on the right, the Protect O Plate, and finally a picture of me (left) and Paul(right). He sold the RS/Z to purchase the corvette we're standing next to..... He's coming to visit and drive OUR car in a few weeks.

Notice the delivery date on the POP 9/19/69 which was a Friday. I'm sure Bill and Paul had a blast that night!
