Agree with you Dan, the X33 on that trim tag looks suspicious. I'd love to be proven wrong if the seller cleans it up and takes a good hi-res pic.

I have a picture of the car from 1971 and there is a 8mm movie of the car. I also have the complete history on the car. I was going to restore the car but decided to restore my 1968 RS Z28 instead. The tag is ligit and has never been off the car. The car is a true Daytona yellow, standard interior X33 RS Z28.

If you cleaned the tag and took a better picture it would help 100x. I recommend you also post the 1971 picture on the auction. Good luck!

It was my car, I got over my head in my 1968 Z28 project and Bob at Camaro Specities helped me out by buying the car. The car has a lot of potential, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to restore it.
