Very nice detail Rick. I've seen several 69's in boneyards out west with no plastic vent at the top of the vent tubes. FWIW.

wow awesome. i wish you would reconsider and just buff out the paint, install a used interior and put do some Evaporust majic and keep the car original.

My biggest regret on the mustang ..redoing it..should have left it alone.

Cannot be done. As soon as I get the time to start posting pictures on my restoration page you will understand. Believe me, if it could have been saved as an original it would be. There was nothing but the dash left in the interior that was not destroyed by feces and urine plus a dog lived in the car for some time.

Fantastic find Rick! Congrats to you both. I read your initial post and purposely didn't scroll down, hoping it'd be a red car....super!!
Very much looking forward to pics of the progress.
FWIW, I've never seen a package tray taped that way for the interior color and body color transition.
Cool stuff!!

Alright what’s with the two rubber hoses coming of the gas tank. Are they just vents are they specific to a certain car or certain horsepower rating? This is how my black 69 chevelle is set up with one fuel line going to the motor! 375 hp ???
