He is on a tight budget. I raised my kids right. You don't buy a car if you can't write a check for it.

This is the kit the seller bought for the car; then took it to a shop to do the work:

So, at least I know it is a GM camshaft and lifters. Timing chain was also replaced, which has to be a good thing.
