I think the trim tag is good, just a bit beat up. Better pic would make it easier to confirm.
Car has a lot going for it, but as stated, not likely an RS to start with, and definitely not the original trans or rear. Some guys don't care about all that. Most do. At least they are up front about the block being decked. It is STILL POSSIBLE to verify it as being the original block, but ONLY IF the partial vin down by the oil filter is readable. Big if. Wrong exhaust manifolds. Given the rest of the history, I would be shocked if it had the original distributor, starter and alt.
