Not a low mile car as he suggests. probably 132,000 miles. Steering wheel is out of a late 70's Z. Both seats are split at the seams. Missing grille emblem. Painted wheels are wrong.
I could go on and on. Black is super desirable tho. Those tailpipes gotta go. ![]()

Good observations...for what Chuck was asking (I assume the current seller got it for less than the $20k ask) I think you could make those changes over time and still have the total investment well under $25k.

I just dont see a car like this getting 20 thous. I say its more like a 15,000, 18,000 tops for this Z. Nothing special, 245 horsepower 350 with all the goodies internally, forged crank, forged shot peened rods, forged pistons and a 4 bolt main block. Solid body for sure. And agree with other poster, a 4 speed is worth more too.

It's actually got the wrong grille. '74 is a 1 year only grille.
Those headlight bezels shouldn't be black either. I know it was mentioned for another late car, but I've never seen black bezels on a factory car. There's no documentation to support that either. All the NOS bezels I've seen and purchased were not black. Oh, yeah Jonesy, those tailpipes! You're right, gotta GO!
