There are on going problems with John Deere. You have to have a laptop with their software to see what the problem is. It is amazing how well it works but we cant fix anything other than simple stuff. Makes you have to wait for a technician, pay for a service call and their hourly rate is getting horrible. Will be interesting how this plays out

unless they disclosed it before selling the car, a person could take the car back for the items not working and after (3 times for the same problem in oklahoma) they could file the lemon law and force them to buy it back.

Fiat and JD won that case 4-6 years ago against the independents. Used to be you could buy a highjacked JD Service Advisor system from China but I am sure by now JD has corrected the software to prevent that loop also.

Twenty, thirty, forty year old tractors have been escalating in value at levels similar to our muscle cars.

In my area the smaller family farmers, under a couple thousand acres, have been driving up the auction prices of clean low hour pre-computerized tractors and combines that they can service and repair themselves, in the field if necessary.

And yet, the Deere facilities in my town keep building the largest Deere 8R and 9R as fast as supply chains allow.
