Ironically, the parts store I cut my teeth in was located at 5825 W. National Ave.
Can't say I remember Hub being there. I asked my Dad about it just now. He says "Oh yeah! Used to sell them gear reduction starters like they were going out of style in the winter" Aside from the side story, what a killer car!! |

We had a machine shop at the store in Kenosha. Probably was not us. There was Allis Machine around 43rd & Beloit that was notable. There was also NAPA on 84th and Greenfield that was doing engine work back then.
