Has a 340 VIN, but I'm pretty positive that only 318 cars had the V8 badges on the fenders...

Yeah the V8 emblems on the fenders is a little weird. Paint and body are beautiful. It does have A66 on the trim tag as well (some A66 info here https://moparconnectionmagazine.com/...lenger-ragtop/ ). Here’s the VIN plate on the dash:

The little V8 emblems are absolutely correct for a 340 car. As there is no such thing as a 1970 Challenger R/T 340, a 1970 Chally equipped with the little engine that could had no markings. Made it a gamble at the stop light drags in '70 for sure when you pulled your Boss or your Z up next to one - "is it a 318 or a 340??" Savvy racers looked for the hood scoops.
