Dick Harrell was forced to change to Hemi power to stay competitive as GM lost out in the fuel classes for a short duration in 1971. The Hemi block was superior in strength allowing for higher mixtures of nitromethane, to make power? Also, speciality engine builders were common to the winners circle.

Another picture with a little information of the Larry Christopherso Vega that has been shown.
