I respect your opinion. I'm not so sure Rusty would appreciate your sharing what I assume was a private conversation with the whole world. Reasonable people can disagree on how to handle these issues. But, that's just my opinion. One false rumor, and there have been plenty, can damage values and reputations.

Thanks for the post. You have made some good points. I however am not afraid of speaking the truth about an issue. Mr. Symmes made no indication to me of any level of confidential correspondiance needed on this disclosure. I hope if you ever buy a ZL-1 or Yenko, that you get the whole story of the car-either from the owner, or someone who knows the history of the vehicle before you spend the big $$. Best of luck!

I agree with buyer beware, but also beware of what you say about other people's cars. Believe it or not, there are people in our hobby that don't know what they're talking about, and, they are usually the ones that talk the most and the loudest. See the post & link re: ignitionman. Some of what he says probably started out as innocent rumors or insincere conversation.

All of the above, plus the other"supercars" from Nickey & Baldwin-Motion,etc. They're all great, circus wagons and plain old buckboards.
