It was just this past summer in the Western Suburbs of Illinois at the Roselle Cruise on a Friday night.
The owner /driver had dark hair clean cut(unlike some of you other Super Car Guys). About 5'8" trim, medium build probably early 40s-ish. Wore jeans and a tan Windbreaker. The Yenko Nova motor I picked-up was to have come out of a Yenko Nova of this description, but I didn't have it then. I have been trying to locate this individual. I may be a bit off on some of the info. as one of the Guys I was with said the Yenko was blue,(and he is color blind) so I could be wrong. |

Supposidly there was a blue Yenko Nova in Milwaukee in the 70s, the fellow was going through a bitter divorce. His wife advertised his tools in the paper to sell to make up some of the money he owed her. The tools were stored in the trunk of the Nova when the person came to pick up the tools he asked if the Nova was for sale? And since she had the title and was in her name she sold it. Cannot verify this story, but a lot of Yenkos were sold in this area so it could be a valid story?

In response to mc25t190's post concerning the rallye green 427 Nova sold by Carl Dwiggins, I was the purchaser. It was indeed about 10 years ago. At the time, Micky Hale was working for me and he did a complete detail of entire car, everything except paint. I started down-sizing my collection about four years ago and since I didn't have any paperwork on this car decided it needed to go. Sold it to Reggie.
