There are several unrestored '68 Z/28s with the 2nd design spoiler. I was recently contacted by someone in posession of an 06C car with the 2nd design.

The Nov '68 SSDI featured the now famous drag test of a '68 Z/28. The article states the car was delivered in July; the photos show the 2nd design.
