I like those 67 fairlanes myself. In the summer of 67 at Keystone drag strip I seen one of the these break an axle going into third gear, the car went end over end, ejecting the driver out of the back window. Luckily he only broke his shoulder. This was the opening day for Keystone and I think Brian Henderson and his father were there that day?

I also liked that Red 427 Fairlane, it would look [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif[/img] in my garage beside the Chevelle Sedan [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

63 XKE was nice....it doesn't have much of a lump though and the gearbag wasn't synchro [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif[/img]

My father worked at the dealership where that ford was ordered.(refering to the car at keystone raceway).He delievered the car to the owner.The owner is still living and lives about a mile away from me

Small world! I spent a lot of time at the strips and that was the worst accident I seen.

The name of that dealer was Bonarrigo Ford,they were located 10 miles east of the race track on RT #22 Blairsville,PA. The owners sold out a couple of years ago.The original building is still there.The son operates a used car store that they own across the highway. Ron
