I believe these 69 T/A cars were Ram Air four, I think you can see the decal on the hood inthe photos.

Hey Motown, I always thought the '69 TA numbers were 689 coupes and 8 convertibles (no RAIV ragtops, 4 autos, 4 4spds), for a total of 697. Do you have newly found numbers that I should update my "database" with?

Tom, I was quoting those numbers from old memory, the 588 vs 689 was an easy mistake considering how many years ago I read that info, but I do believe it was 12 convertibles as my friend owns one, I will get with him to check and get back to you.
Thanks, Motown

I owned the second convertible built for about a dozen years. Sold it about 14 months ago. There were only eight built. Seven have been accounted for, with rumors for years that the 8th was in Canada.

Eight it is, I also talked to my friend who owns one, you are also correct about the Canada rumuor as he has been searching for the last five years throughout Canada. Bet you got a good price for the one you sold based upon the offers my friend has had on his car.
Thanks, Motown
