I have a "MINT" EB-9A sending unit and 9G Sun tach "GREEN_LINE". Upon opening the sender I saw 2 AA bateries. I read an article in one of the car mag's how the internal batteries could still be bought from Radio Shack....... Are they AA or some weird only to be gotten at Radio Shack battery, and if so what do I ask for when I go to "R.C."? Question #2, If it is simply a "AA" change-out do the POS posts go towards the distribution posts or towards the bottom of the sending unit or left one way and right the other. Sorry, I cant remember witch way the Batteries were faceing when I took them out. #3 Does any one know of the company that "MODERNIZES" these units to look the same but work as a new unit? #4 Where can I get a Sun 9G's cup and stand (i.e colume mount). Thank you in advance, Peter D.

Peter I have been using Williamsons http://www.williamsons.com/ for a couple of years now, They are a couple of good ol' boys out of Arkansas and do nice work. They could convert that unit for you so it works with modern technology. I just bought a set of NOS brand new in the box Sun Blue line 2 5/8 gauges from them. It is funny cause I just got them today. I got a fuel pressure, oil pressure, ampmeter, and chrome mounting bezel & bracket for $394.00 including shipping! Try and beat that with what these things are going for on e-bay.
