Default Re: Treat it with respect...

Being a combat veteran of two gulf wars and a lover of freedom, cars, good looking woman, and hard work, I fly my flag high and proud everyday. For me it's a norm. I often think I'm the only one in my neighborhood that is still flying my flag at half staff in respect, and more importantly proper protocol for a fallen leader. If everyone stopped their bitching about events and became more involved, which starts right at home, at the base of the flag pole we all would be better united as a whole. Our American flag is the strongest form of respect, and symbol of freedom that we can display FREE.

For those that fly old glory proper, and true, my hats off to you !.

Remember, the war's not over so let's show each other that we really care.

My 2 cents.

I'm pleased with the good words and grateful to those who have served. My father was in the USN from 45-47. It was a different world then. There were lots of guys and gals along way from home who looked up to that flag and felt they were closer to home. Fly it proudly and with respect!

Tattered and faded flags should be "destroyed in a dignified way".

Flag Rules and Regulations

Thanks for posting the regulations. Everyone should print out a copy and keep it for reference.
