Here's a couple of old catalogs--They were both from Motion---- First is the one I picked up before I had my unit put in--You can see the phrase --Hone-o-Drive-used in the earlier catalog--In the '72 you see the phrase Hone overdrive--No big deal just some info--Tomatoes/Tamotoes

My guess is they started doing it around 10/69. The big article on the Hone install was in the 11/69 issue of CARS. It reads as it's new and available and the install shown and pics featured were the '69 COPO/Motion SS427 Camaro.

With the magazine lead times, I bet the article was done even earlier perhaps in Aug. or Sept. of '69.

COPO--Could be Sept???? --Weeds still look pretty long on that hillside--usually start fallen over by late Oct---And that is a pretty light shirt for late Oct --But this is all late night Columbo guesses---------
