everyone has this mindset that their cars are worth a gazillion dollars after watching these barret-jackson jerks pay 4 times what a car is really worth. N.O.M. and 140k canadian????? there is an ass for every seat and a jack to go with it.

With the bidding at $52,000, this guy should take the money and run.

--------Im unsure as to why this fella should sell a real 67 Z28 for $52000. Original motor 67s are extremely hard to find. I dont think the replacement block is a big issue if its a correct replacement block! There are loads of 69s that have brought more than that and the 69s are a bunch more common. Personally, if this car is real I think its worth $52000 all day long. Now that quoted Canadian price Im not so sure of!!!! Oh, and thats making every effort to factor B/J out of the picture. Just MHO............Bill S

I've seen this car in person both before and after the resto and it is what it is...a nice driver with some incorrect items that wouldn't be too hard to correct. Most of the drive train parts, the '68 cowl plenum, '68 DF rally's etc. are close, but not really correct for a '67 Z. But still, the car is worth between $50K and $60K IMHO. The problem is that few people appear to be interested in any '67 Z other than a project car. There have been a number of nice #1 and #2 cars for sale for over a year and none have changed hands. Not sure why that is????

Mark:
I think it is because most of us want a "buy" and to be in it for less than market. Also, many more folks are qualified for the project and not the higher dollar of a done car. I know you keep your ear to the ground on the 67 Z's for sale, but I just don't see them advertised in the mainstream car venues. They'll sell if they're quality and people know about 'em!

I'm still waiting for an untouched orig paint 67Z. The 67 RSZ will do fine until then and might be next on the resto list!

Hi Dave, I agree with your thinking.

Don't worry, you're at the top of the list for an unrestored car. I picked up another project Z that is on ebay now and have another couple in the works. One is spoken for to a friend that I owe a favor to, but I'll pass along info on any that I think you might be intersted in.

Would love to see the RS Z done, I think it will be a very cool car
