You should bolt / weld up some angle iron across the interior of the body so the car doesn't warp out of shape when you pop the top. Did you take the doors off? You should put something across the top of the door opening too.

Well i went yesterday and he didnt want to mess with it so i got the shell not just the roof. Its in great shape with no rust in the channels at all. So now its time to sit down and make this happen...Thanks for the hints and ideas guys
