I've been a White Sox fan since the late 60's. This is great to watch. Talk about great starting pitching. The bullpen should be well rested.

GO SOX!

Damn White Sox ...Well, at least the Angels got the Yankees out of the way for them.

Great pitching..great plays and awesome hitting by the White Sox...they deserve to be there.

The Angels did it a few years ago...and since I lived in Illinois...I gotta root for the Sox now!

For those of us who are 'diehard White Sox fans' this happens once in a blue moon. Used to 'live' at old Comisky Park when I was a kid and saw 76 home games in '58. (yes, I am that old!) I've had this picture stationed beside the TV since the play-offs began. This has been org*smic ! ! !

I once saw the White Sox play two at the "old" Comiskey(sp?)Park...they were playing the A's...Vida Blue pitched the first game...A's won 12-2. I believe that Rollie Fingers pitched the second game...and the A's won 12-1...and so it went....

Seems like yesterday,I was watching them on UHF Channel 44 WSNS here,as that was the only station that would broadcast them & Harry Carey drunk by the 6th inning.

God I miss that Old Stadium, and those Southside beer vendors walking the upper decks yelling,
"Hey Beer Old Style!"

What the Hell, Lidge is human after all. Albert just jacked him for a three run homer. STL 5 HOU 4 in the 9th.

Bob...I know the Chicago pain of waiting for a baseball champion..for us a lifetime. If your brother can get a way to Houston for wed Game 4, I may have 1 extra seat in the nose bleeds. Let me know if he's interested....Jeff

5 hours & 41 Minutes long.
I don't care who you are rooting for,
both of the teams deserve where they are right now.
This is just good Baseball!

Ex Houston Astro Now White Sox Geoff Blum connected for a tie-breaking solo home run in the 14th inning.
