-------Ive known Linda for years as probably many of you guys. She has only gotten better with age. If you are her friend she is the best. She never forgets a name and just keeps on going like the energizer bunny. I didnt see the offending posts, but if the deleted stuff was in any way disrespectful to her then Bob did the right thing as she doesnt deserve treatment like that..........Bill S

Bill is 100% correct. 2 years after I met Linda face to face for the first time and had a brief conversation with her, and gave her a small gift, I walked by her, signing autographs against a line of 30 people at the York reunion, when she saw me, jumped to her feet, rounded the table and gave me a big hug, calling me by name. Obviously, I was flabbergasted beyond belief, embarrassed and made to feel very special at the same time.
She is a very special person who is part of a common thread we all have in this hobby. As far as I'm concerned, no one has the right to say anything against her. And yes, she was, and still is "easy on the eyes" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

No one said anything bad about her.
I posted a link from a server that couldn't handle the traffic Yenko put on it. I asked Belair to change the source code but he didn't know how and deleted them instead, he accidently deleted Andy's post. Anyone that could not see what a complete asset Mrs. Vaughan is to the automobile industry would be a idiot. |

It is a shame that you are too young to have been there when she was here in Tulsa.... AAAAAhhhhhh..... those were the days.

Linda is a sweetheart. She has charm, and an incredibly positive attitude.
Now that Oldsmobile is gone, Linda works some Pontiac shows. At a recent Pontiac show, I asked her if she still had her famous 72 Hurst/Olds (she always said that car was her favorite). Unfortunately, she said she only has her 79 Hurst/Olds now. Check out the gallery on this site, and keep your tongues off the keyboards. http://misshurst.www3.50megs.com/hl01.htm ![]()
