Watch for articles by McClurg on SCR8 in both Super Chevy and SC Camaro Performers magazines. Also, in upcoming issues of Drag Racer magazine will be features on several cars that raced at SCR8, submitted by Bob.

Muscle Car Enthusiast magazine (Steve Statham) will have features on cars from SCR8 beginning next month.

Judging by these two articles, and where My Classic Car did their filming, I think it is obvious what one of the major things that sets the SCR apart from all other events. Of course, racing. I for one want to extend a big THANK YOU to all of the owners, who through the years, have been willing to overlook the risks invovled, allowing us to enjoy the cars in the atmosphere they were designed for. Hopefully at SCR9 we will have even more supercars participating during Friday's day at the track.

BTW, Barnhart's ZL-1 is being repaired as we speak for a return engagement at SCR9, and rumor has it a certain gentleman from NJ will be racing two very special Novas at SCR9. And word is we may a Canadian go after the Duece Shootout Championship.

If it has not already been mentioned, congrats to Pete Simpson on a very nice color feature in the December issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. Very impressive.

December 2005.

January is supposed to have an article on the '69 Yenko Nova that snuck into the Gibb show.
