 Maybe with a little creativity, you could turn it into both a coffee table and Hampster Habitat.  At least you could have fun looking at it.

Auction ended @ $1,510 ( pricy for a coffee table - huh )? I would love to know who got this and what they actually end up doing with it ( in reality ). Steve
