Well if its not for sale, then i guess it would be "priceless" Maybe its just my computer, but the pics all are so big I can't hardly tell what I'm looking at. Can someone resize a couple and repost them?

I would say that one is worth a little less than this "original paint , original engine" Z...

Pretty cool car, for sure.

But if I can ask a question. Why start a thread asking what it's worth if it's not for sale? Just asking.

Because I don't want a flood of PM's or emails asking if the car is for sale.
The sale is being negotiated between 2 private individuals and I was asked to take a look at the car.
The description I recieved was fairly accurate with the exception of the missing original engine.
Had the DZ motor been there the deal would have been done.
We figure that the lack of the DZ kills the value by at least 10k the way the car sits now... I am just trying to put a fair value on the car.

I'll step up to the plate and give my 02. If the car was indeed a numbers car, without looking a conservative estimate 40K +/-. But since it looks like everthing is wrong under the hood I would say 25K is a good number.

Looks like a decent combination but original paint doesn't seem to add too much value in this case since it has a lot of rusty areas underneath and the engine and Z28 parts are gone. It's very tough to put a guesstimate on something like that without seeing the paint condition in person. But my point of view is that the car looks like it would still need to be restored to clean it up properly so original paint doesn't help. I'd agree with the $20-25K range.

So how many PMs have you gotten trying to break up the deal?

Since it's an RS Endura with good colors inside and out (black/black), this car could go to $50K in a bidding situation.

Get a DZ engine off of eBay, add a repro X-ram and "JL8" brakes, and this could be another one of those crazy-money Zs you see at B-J. Well, "crazy money" today will probably look like a real deal in 10 more years.
